"I am Sam" is a spectacularly film that makes your heart melt.  It is a heart warming movie about a father who has an intellectual disability and he is no longer able to take care of him daughter (lucky) played by Dakota Fanning. (Sam) played by Sean Penn tried his hardest to gain custody back of his daughter but has a tough time coping with it all by himself. Sam had a hard time trying to deal with lucky being taken away.  It was a very well done movie and the character Sam did a fantastic job at playing his role as a person who has an intellectual disability. The movie portrayed his role very well by having scenes that could relate to someone who has a hard time coping with an intellectual disability (example: when he was working at Starbucks). The movie did a great job at showing the ups and down that people are faced with and what they have to go threw everyday.
